The Brooklyn Heights Cinema opened it's doors in June of 1970. It is the oldest and longest running independently and locally owned and operated cinema (remaining) in New York City. We are a two screen cinema, located in historic Brooklyn Heights, steps away from Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and the views of the Promenade. Two 150 seat theaters rotate two or three films... art house, foreign and independent titles.
The cinema hosts many special events including director's Q & As.
